Educational videos

The Hays Antique Truck Museum has produced a 3 volume videotape series titled The First 3 Decades of the Trucking Industry.  These professionally produced videos feature nearly 100 classic trucks from the Hays collection, including some live action shots.

Here's how the Vintage Truck and Fire Engine Monthly reviewed our videotape series:

1929 Chevrolet 1-1/2 tonThis is one of the most enjoyable tapes that I have seen in a long time. . . it has a lot to offer anyone who loves and/or cherishes old trucks.  The tape is very entertaining, but it is also very educational so there is a double reason to order your own copy.  This is one of the better efforts I have seen.  It has been done professionally which means some big bucks were spent, and it tells a very interesting message.  I can just about guarantee that you will find your small investment of $19.95 to be an excellent investment.

The American Truck Historical Society's Wheels of Time also gives our tapes two thumbs-up!

The Hays Antique Truck Museum video series that covers trucking during the first three decades of this century is excellent.   The newly released Volume II features all of the museum's trucks from this era, taken out of museum displays and operated, so you can see them run in color.   Much research was done on the Mexican Campaign, WW I, and the American Expeditionary Force from 1917-1918.  It includes film footage of trucks at work in Europe, plus trucks working on the home front.   An added treat is film footage of the 1919 military transcontinental truck convoy, a little known test for early military vehicles.   I give it two thumbs-up!

The First 3 Decades of the Trucking Industry are available separately or as a complete 3 volume set.
